French doors in the living room open to a deck with a sunken hot tub, lounge chairs and a table so you may dine outside, if you so desire. You'll enjoy the view day or night, between the forest and the stars!
Also available are a large fire pit (weather permitting) and a charcoal grill under a covered pavilion.

Summertime brings the magic of fireflies and the song of the woodland insects. In winter months, bundle up on the porch with a cup of hot cider or tea and enjoy the silence of the woods, with the sky a canvas of silouetted trees.

The hiking and mountain bike trails of DeSoto State Park are adjacent to DeSoto House, and Mentone's Town Center is less than seven miles away. Also nearby are DeSoto Falls and the Little River Canyon.
